Ivette For The People - Serving Iowa with Practical Solutions For All
Ivette Muhammad is a lifelong community advocate, mother of eight, grandmother of five, and a 2026 candidate for Iowa House District 33. A dedicated community leader and Chief Operations Officer of Creative Visions, Ivette has spent several productive years working directly with Des Moines residents to strengthen neighborhoods, support families, and create meaningful opportunities.
Her leadership is grounded in service, problem-solving, and accountability. Ivette believes in safer communities, much stronger economic pathways, early financial education for youth, and policies that help people live healthier, more stable lives. She is running to be a dependable, solutions-focused voice for District 33 - one that listens, follows through, and puts people first.
